What are we going to do with our time now that the candidates have left?

2008 Presidential Candidates

It is Jan 10th 2008 and all of the candidates have packed up their busses and headed to Michigan and points West.  I noticed another thing; it was like the sign fairies came in through the overnight and removed all the signs from the side of the roads.    Maybe I am more aware of the sign disappearance because I am a Realtor and I am always on the lookout for signs.   I don’t know about you but I really didn’t want to view all the TV programs about the  Presidential contest at first, but after being inundated by all the TV exposure I was drawn in like a zombie and looked for more and more programs as the race heated up.  Now that the race is over and the winners (McCain and Clinton) have won, we are now left with the usual repeats at prime time and the problem is compounded now the TV script writes strike.  Working out of downtown Concord every day I got to witness the carnival atmosphere on a daily basis.  So my question to you is what are we to do with our time in the evenings now that the circus has left town?   Please comment and let your opinion be known.

  1. For me that’s easy…I surf the net and read the political and real estate blogs. I’m liking the fact that my phone is not rining late at night.
